A reporter has finally received the Trump Mobile T1 Phone after a wait of over a year, revealing early impressions and initial setup challenges. The device’s arrival is notable as it marks a rare glimpse into the long-anticipated product, which has garnered attention for its political branding and limited market presence.
The Trump Mobile T1 Phone was received by a journalist after a delay of more than 12 months since its initial announcement. The device arrived with a basic set of accessories, including a SIM card, a cheap-feeling braided USB-C cable, and a standard charger. The phone features a gold plastic back with a slightly sticky sheen, and was already scratched upon opening. Setup was straightforward, with the device installing apps from a Google backup and preloaded with Truth Social. However, the phone struggled to connect to LTE or 5G networks outside the US, though calls could be made using a British SIM card. The device appears to be primarily designed for American users, and a full review is planned for next week.
