The Samsung Galaxy A37 5G is now available for $399.99 on Amazon, its lowest price ever. This deal makes a feature-rich Samsung phone more accessible for budget-conscious buyers, with six years of updates and a premium display.
Amazon is offering the Samsung Galaxy A37 5G for $399.99, its lowest price to date, according to price trackers. This midrange device features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, a durable design, and six years of software updates, making it a notable option for budget-conscious consumers seeking a premium-looking Samsung phone.
The Samsung Galaxy A37 5G normally retails at a higher price, but Amazon’s current sale reduces the unlocked, 256GB model to $399.99. This discount amounts to a $140 reduction from its regular price, marking a new low for the device, according to price-tracking data.
The phone’s design borrows elements from Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S series, with a squared-off look and a large 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display that offers a 2,340-by-1,080 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,900 nits. It features Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both front and back, with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The device is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1480 chip paired with 256GB of storage, suitable for everyday tasks but not demanding gaming.
Camera capabilities include a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and an 8MP front camera. The 5,000mAh battery supports 45W wired charging, but wireless charging is absent. The device is expected to receive six years of operating system updates, which is notable for a midrange model.
Why the Price Drop Matters for Budget Buyers
This deal makes a feature-rich Samsung phone more accessible to a broader audience, especially those seeking a durable device with long-term software support. The significant price reduction could influence purchasing decisions in the midrange segment, potentially increasing competition among affordable smartphones.
For consumers, this means getting a device with a premium display, durable build, and a sizable battery at a much lower cost than usual, challenging the typical pricing of mid-tier phones and possibly prompting other brands to adjust their pricing strategies.

Recent Trends in Smartphone Pricing and Samsung’s Midrange Strategy
In recent months, flagship smartphone prices have remained high, while midrange models like the Galaxy A37 have become increasingly competitive through aggressive discounts. Samsung’s strategy to offer long-term updates and premium features in its midrange lineup aims to attract budget-conscious consumers without sacrificing quality. The current deal on the Galaxy A37 5G continues this trend, making it one of the most affordable Samsung devices with such features.
Historically, Samsung’s Galaxy A series has been positioned as a value-oriented line, but recent deals have pushed the prices even lower, reflecting a broader industry shift toward more accessible smartphones with longer software support.
“This is the lowest price we’ve seen for the Galaxy A37 5G, making it a compelling choice for consumers wanting a premium-looking device without the flagship price.”
